Updates . . .

Hey, I'm writing my second post! Let's keep this up.

Sorry I haven't posted much! I actually have a few full deboxing reviews waiting in the wings, but I only have the pictures taken.

However, I do have some pictures, and some teasers.

I know next to nobody's reading this blog (yet), but I'd like some customizing advice. You see, I got an unarticulated ballerina Barbie because her face was gorgeous. I'm planning on doing a rebody with a Raquelle doll and possibly giving the donor body freckles. The thing is, I've never done any customizing, so I feel like advice is a must.

Also, when I'm doing the customization, I'll be documenting it in this order:

A. Review of Ballerina doll (on her original body)
B. Review of Raquelle doll (who will be the body donor)
C. Actual pictures of customization process
D. Picture spam and final thoughts of the Ballerina doll (on body donor body)

By the way, here's a picture of the Ballerina doll (I'm pretty sure she's called Barbie Fairytale Magic Ballerina Lea Doll or something ridiculous among those lines):

I'm very excited about this series, since I think it has a lot of potential. However, I am nervous. But I'll do it, because that face is too pretty to be stuck on a cheap unarticulated body.

Also, here's some picture spam of Raquelle:

This is the homemade dress she was wearing at the end of my review, but the deep V-neck is in the front. She's also wearing a Flavas denim jacket, and the sandals from the 2013 Barbie beach fashion pack. I like how there's a boho chic vibe to this outfit now. Of course, if I added Life in the Dreamhouse Teresa's boots, necklace, and purse, it would have been even more boho chic, but this was a spur of the moment photo. I like how it turned out, though.

Feel free to give advice and/or opinions!

Welcome!

Hello!

I'm Kayleigh, the girl who did the guest review of Life in the Dreamhouse Raquelle for the Toy Box Philosopher. Doing that guest review sparked my interest in blogging, and I decided to get this blog.

I have many interests, but dolls are one of my favorites. I collect many different types of different dolls, but mostly Barbie, Monster High, Ever After High, J-Dolls, Moxie Teenz, J-Dolls, Bratzillaz, and Bratz. I'll mostly be writing about dolls, but occasionally I'll do an album or song review, and I might post some examples of my other writing. I'll be doing full deboxings occasionally, but mostly I'll be doing overviews of dolls I've already deboxed. I like classic and prog rock (Rush, Marillion, Jethro Tull, Queen, etc.), so I'll mostly be discussing songs by these bands when I do music reviews.

I hope you enjoy my blog!
